Genesis Closer The GLC, Kliklok's high-speed lugless-style carton closer, is designed to seal tri-seal top-load cartons with hot-melt adhesive at speeds up to 250 cartons per minute. The Genesis Closer features tandem belt carton transport for positive carton control without lugs. This permits random carton arrival and infeed timing, faster speeds, a wide carton size range, and fast changeover. The GLC's unique carton turning bed insures positive charlotte sealing, reduced carton jams and greater line efficiency. Cartons are accepted end-leading, cover right (when looking downstream), turned 90° and discharged with front tuck leading. TriStar The TriStar is a high-speed, lugged, straight-line tri-seal topload carton closer with a semi-enclosed wheel-type hot melt applicator. Cartons are accepted end-leading, cover right (when looking downstream), turned 90° and discharged with front tuck leading onto standard-equipment bottom carton take-away chains at the discharge end of the closer.
