Kliklok-Woodman will be exhibiting their NEW VFFS twin-tube bagmaker, the G3 at Snackex 2009 in Berlin, Germany (7–9 June) Stand 731/733.

The G3 continues the Woodman tradition of flexible packaging expertise and reliability by building on the successes of its predecessors, including the snack food workhorse, the Gemini II. The G3’s welded tubular steel frame has been designed to fit a smaller footprint than most twin-tube bagmakers – and allows weighers and volumetric fillers to be direct-mounted to the machine, eliminating the need for a support structure or mezzanine. The electrical cabinet has been tucked inside the frame, contributing to the smaller footprint and allowing total access to the interior of the machine for ease of maintenance.

The G3 offers a wide variety of bag style options, including block bottom bags, perforated bag strip, promotional strip, display strip, notching and hole punching. For ease of operation, the G3 features Kliklok-Woodman’s exclusive Insight® icon-based, multilingual, colour touch screen interface.

Top speed of the G3 is 200 bpm (100 per tube), depending on product characteristics and bag size and style.
