Chocolate company chooses Kliklok

German chocolate company Argenta chose the SFR120 end load cartoner to pack their range of luxury confectionery products.
Our brief was to replace the existing intermittent equipment with an integrated, flexible, easy size-change, continuous motion solution. The Kliklok SFR was the ideal choice.
Following a signal from the SFR, empty acetate trays are fed automatically from the customer’s de-nester, and a free standing combing device transfers these into the SFR’s product infeed conveyor. The chocolates are manually placed into the compartments of the tray. A Longford feeder then places a cushioned pad on top of the filed tray, prior to insertion & cartoning by the SFR120.
Customised features on this line were a lengthened infeed conveyor, open flap detection sensors after the gluing section of the SFR, Siemens control package, Festo pneumatics, German screen text & manuals, and the touch screen was mounted on an extended arm for improved operator access.
