2nd SFR cartoner for Russia
May 21, 2012
In a joint collaboration with Ilapak, Kliklok will soon be installing a 2nd SFR150 end load cartoning machine at Udarnitsa Confectionery, in Moscow.
Founded in 1929, Udarnitsa is now one of the largest confectionery producers in Russia, employing over 1000 staff, and using a combination of traditional and new technology to produce their range of sweets from natural & organic ingredients.
The first Kliklok SFR machine for Udarnitsa was installed in 2009 and had an automatic SMARTBELT infeed system, which allows the product to arrive at random with no need for precision placement by operators, thus improving line efficiency and providing a fully automatic cartoner with a short footprint.
For the 2nd machine, the SFR was integrated with a Right Angle Transfer (R.A.T.) infeed, to pack trays of chocolate marshmallows. This option provides a cost-effective automatic transfer solution as the R.A.T. system receives single products on a conveyor at 90 degrees to the SFR infeed, then synchronises & transfers them between the infeed flights of the cartoner.
In addition to the Smartbelt and R.A.T. infeed options, the SFR150’s modular design enables other choices for either hand loading, collating or stacking – providing tailor made solutions for improved productivity. With the benefit of flexibility, the SFR150 can be reconfigured if your requirements change.
