Kliklok supplies Pro-activ drinks cartoning line

Unilever Best Foods asked Kliklok to supply an automatic loading & cartoning line in France for their popular 7-pack Pro-activ yoghurt drinks. Having already installed three Prima end load cartoning lines in various European plants for Unilever’s Pro-activ spread, Kliklok was well-placed to offer an efficient packaging solution for this new line.
Again, the Prima machine was an ideal choice of cartoner – with 6” flights, patented rotary carton feeder, and stainless steel construction. For product handling, Kliklok engineered & built a bespoke automatic bottle loading system. This takes the bottles at random, using rotating scrolls plus a collation & detection mechanism to group them in to 7’s prior to cartoning at a speed of 560 bottles / 80 cartons per minute.
The line was customised to comply with Unilever’s mechanical & electrical specification, with modified guarding, Siemens control package and extended carton magazine.
